This project supports nine small church-run primary schools in village or slum situations across the Punjab, which together provide an education for 545 very poor Christian children. The cost of teachers' salaries, school uniforms, books, stationery and school bags totals £12,927 for a year, that is £23.70 per child per year. Nominal school fees are charged of 5 rupees (4p) per child per month to parents who can afford it.
