Many Christians face economic difficulties because anti-Christian discrimination makes it hard for them to get jobs. Converts from other faiths have particular difficulties in this respect. This fund is used to provide training and/or start-up costs to enable Christians to support themselves by setting up their own small businesses. A bee-keeping project and a welding business in Central Asia, a bakery in North Korea, a shop for household goods in Algeria, and training for tailoring in Sudan. - these are some of the many businesses which have got off the ground with grants from this fund.
