What will you be doing:

You will be working under the Snr. Film Producer, editing compelling stories that meets the vision of Barnabas+. This will involve reviewing footage from around the world, making selections for the final edit, following the script approved by the filmmaker, adding score and grading the project to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys collaborating with colleagues in a team, and will get satisfaction from performing detailed tasks with precision, but also like the stimulus of new challenges and changing situations. This is a role for someone who loves to learn, who is interested in the global scene and likes interacting with people from a variety of cultures. Your summary of duties involve:

  • Communicate effectively with the Media Manager and Snr. Film Producer
  • Work with attention to detail
  • Meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest editing techniques and technology
  • Demonstrate a passion for film and storytelling
  • Demonstrate a willingness to serve others through media
  • Any successful candidate will need to be committed to our organisations statement of faith, work of the ministry of Barnabas Aid and have a strong understanding of the film industry.
  • It would be beneficial to have audio mixing/sound design experience.

Location

You will be working within our film production team at our studio in Pewsey. This is a full-time, studio-based role.

Salary

The salary for this role is based on skills and experience and fall in line with our ministries polices around salary. Experience in editing and knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve are required.
