Many families had to leave with little or nothing and were facing difficult conditions away from their homes.
Myanmar has been experiencing prolonged conflict since the military takeover in 2021, with fighting and attacks forcing large numbers of people from their homes. In areas such as Sagaing Region, many communities have been affected by violence and displacement, leaving families without reliable access to food, shelter and other basic necessities.

Thanks to the generous donations of Barnabas Aid supporters, families received rice, chickpeas and cooking oil as well as blankets and sleeping mats.
Your gifts helped families meet some of their most immediate needs during a time of fear and uncertainty. For those who had lost their homes, this practical assistance provided help when it was needed most.
