The Apostle James asks, “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” (2:15-16).
Thanks to you, 2,000 Christians in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh can now keep warm.
Barnabas Aid supporters have provided thick blankets to these desperately poor brothers and sisters in Christ, just in time for the onset of winter.
Praise God, you have provided warmth for your brothers and sisters in India
“Many of these believers live in remote tribal villages with minimal protection against cold nights,” says Barnabas Aid’s project partner. “Temperatures drop sharply and families sleep in huts with no insulation or bedding.”
“The region’s believers endure extreme hardship – economic deprivation, social discrimination, and inadequate shelter during the cold season,” he continued.
“Each year, several Christian families fall ill due to exposure during winter, particularly in high-altitude or forested areas.”
“Timely provision of warm blankets can prevent illness and suffering while serving as a powerful testimony of God’s care.”
The blankets were distributed by pastors and volunteers from local churches. Many widows and elderly people were among the recipients.

Lord God, we praise You for providing for Your people in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. We pray not only that will they be kept from cold and illness, but also that their faith will be strengthened by this demonstration of Your love and kindness. Thank You, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
