Day 1 - Medical Needs in Lebanon

Friday, December 22

"I am a poor Christian who has no idea what the future is holding for me and my family.” Elias (right) relies on food parcels from Barnabas Aid to stand any chance of being able to pay for his medicine. Can you help?

A gift of $64 could provide much-needed medication for a Christian who can’t access the healthcare they need (average cost of medication for a Christian in need of treatment).

Day 2 - Trauma Counseling and Food Aid for Children in the Holy Land

Saturday, December 23

The Holy Land is wracked by terrible violence and extreme suffering. Barnabas Aid are funding interactive events for traumatized Christian children and young people in the Holy Land, where they can “escape the sorrow and focus on the love of Christ for them”, say our project partners.

Eighty gifts of $50 could cover the costs of a program of interactive events, including food, for traumatized children and young people in the Holy Land.

Day 3 - Self-Sufficiency for Christians in Egypt

Sunday, December 24

Help poor and marginalised Christian women and young Christian men in Egypt to support their families. Seventeen different kinds of small businesses are being established.

Any gifts could be used to provide stock to resell or help with setting up new businesses for Christian families to run.

Day 4 - Food for Christian Families Suffering in the Holy Land

Monday, December 25

A gift of $70 could provide canned food, milk, fruit/vegetables, clothing and shelter for a Christian family in the Holy Land, with the focus on widows, the sick, elderly and others in great need.

Day 5 - Shipping Food to Christians in Ukraine

Tuesday, December 26

200 gifts of $50 will cover the shipping cost to send a container of aid to Christians in Ukraine.

Day 6 - Winter Warmth for Displaced Christian Families in Jaranwala, Pakistan

Wednesday, December 27

Imagine your home was ransacked and burnt by anti-Christian rioters four months ago. You are still living in temporary accommodation. The weather was hot when you lost your home but now it is cold and you don’t even have a blanket to keep warm. This is reality for hundreds of Christians from Jaranwala, Pakistan.

A gift of $32 could provide a quilt to provide warmth to a displaced Christian family in Pakistan.

Day 7 - Give Rice to Help Hungry Christians in South-East Asia

Thursday, December 28

“I think I would die without this help,” said ”Yao”, a Christian widow, to our project partner in South-East Asia in November. Rice is the staple food for everyone in her country.

A gift of just $8 could provide 22 lbs. of milled rice to feed Christians in poor and rural areas of South-East Asia.

Day 8 - Lunches for Hungry Sudanese Christian Refugees in Egypt

Friday, December 29

“…many of these Sudanese men, women and children have escaped from tough circumstances of persecution, war and poverty in Sudan,” said our project partner in Egypt.

“This relatively small addition to the joy of their Sunday worship services was appreciated highly.”

What is this small addition?

A simple sandwich lunch for Sudanese believers after their Sunday worship.

$26 could provide the ingredients to make 100 sandwiches of various fillings (beans, falafel, cheese etc.)

Day 9 - Bless Pakistani Christian Children with Life-Changing Christian Schools

Saturday, December 30

Barnabas Aid contributes to the running costs of 121 Christian schools in Pakistan - some big, some small - including 43 schools for Christian brick-kiln communities. All of these schools offer a strong, Bible-based education to children from the neediest and most vulnerable Christian families.

Can you help Christian children in Pakistan grow up strong in the Lord?

A gift of $12 could cover the typical* cost to support a Pakistani Christian child in school for a month (*cost varies with region, age of children and other factors)

Day 10 - Save Christian Lives in Ukraine

Sunday, December 31

Christian families in Ukraine – most of them displaced from their homes – are faced by a winter without shelter, warmth or food. Young children and the elderly are especially vulnerable. Our project partner on the ground out there explained to Barnabas last week, “There are many houses without any source of power. No gas or electricity.”

A gift of $180 towards our Winter Appeal project could provide and install a wood-burning stove for a Christian family in Ukraine to stay warm and cook their food.

Day 11 - Aid for Christian Victims of Violence

Monday, January 1

The Western New Year can be a time of increased danger of violent attack for Christian minorities in parts of the world where this season is considered to be a Christian celebration.

Any gifts given to our Victims of Violence fund will be used to help our brothers and sisters in Christ wherever they face violent persecution. Practical aid can be given such as with food or other resources to rebuild their lives or homes, and spiritual aid can be provided to help with trauma in the aftermath of attacks.

Day 12 - Make a Huge Difference to Christians In Need around the World through food.gives

Tuesday, January 2

In the last year*, we've sent a total of 14,000,000 servings of food to hungry Christians all around the world through our food.gives project. Please pray and consider giving a gift to help these numbers climb even higher, and help us transform lives and give hope and joy all over the world!
