Christians in Haiti were thankful for the arrival of two shipments of soup mix provided by Barnabas Aid supporters in the United States.

A total of 7 tons were distributed to churches at two locations in the Caribbean nation.

These shipments provided vital food for more than 11,400 people at risk of starvation.

Grateful pastors in Haiti receive soup mix for their congregations.

Haiti is widely recognized as the most impoverished country in the Western Hemisphere.

The country continues to experience surging violence and insecurity, as rival armed gangs control more than 90% of the capital Port-au-Prince. The government has collapsed and neither police nor army are able to exercise control.

How You Can Pray

Praise the Lord for providing this food aid for our brothers and sisters. Pray that their faith will not fail amid hardship. Ask that peace and stability will be brought about for all people suffering violence, poverty, and hunger in Haiti.
