Networking Coordinator

Barnabas Aid began in the early 1990’s in the UK and has existed for the past 30 years with the sole mission of bringing hope to the suffering Christians around the world. Through over 5000 projects, countless lives have been impacted with the food, medical supplies, educational training, small business funding, pastoral leadership development, and so many other ways where Barnabas Aid has had the privilege of being involved.

The International Directors began developing regional presence throughout the world, and over seventeen years ago, brought Barnabas Aid to North America. Now based in Lancaster, PA and with over 110K+ subscribers nationwide, the ministry continues to attempt to reach this nation with the information and resources to engage, pray, and financially support the ongoing efforts. This engagement is central to the core responsibilities of this position of Networking Coordinator.

Position Overview

The role Networking Coordinator can be defined by the following primary responsibilities:

  • Relationship development with Ambassadors, Churches, partner Ministries, partner food.gives suppliers, and key donors
  • Coordination with the UK-based Digital Marketing team to ensure successful execution of US-localized campaigns including social media, physical mail and eblasts, conference and event management
  • Coordinating the food.gives program – managing supply chain for food and supporting resources, as well as promotion of all activities with ministry/community involvement

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling an existing action plan through the execution of network development, where you will be connecting with Churches, ministries and faith-based organizations through call campaigns, eblasts, mail campaigns, and other efforts to engage and develop partnering organizations
  • Spearheading our outreach initiatives and marketing campaigns
  • Contacting our existing supporters to deepen partnerships and grow the Ambassador network
  • Providing guidance to our international digital marketing and copywriting teams for network development initiatives
  • Facilitating monthly huddles with volunteer Ambassadors across North America
  • Maintaining relationships with key suppliers and partners in the food.gives program (emergency food aid, branded under the food.gives naming)

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to maintain effective communication using consistent brand voice
  • Familiarity with current nonprofit development and fundraising practices
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Solid Christian faith and membership of a local church, and agreement with our Statement of Faith (on our website)

Salary is dependent on skills and experience.

You will be working within our US office based in Lancaster.
