These are all necessary for life. But the Word of God has even greater value – it is necessary for eternal life.
You can give a gift more precious than gold – the Word of God.
Today you can provide a study Bible for a pastor in Sri Lanka.
These faithful under-shepherds of the Lord’s flock are serving His people, planting churches and training local church leaders.
Yet they are often without any formal training, and access to Bible study tools is limited.
Study Bibles in local languages will equip pastors to serve the Lord’s people and train new church leaders.
“The provision of study Bibles in Sinhala and Tamil is a strategic tool to help these pastors better interpret, teach, and preach the Word of God,” says our project partner.
“These Bibles will become lifelong resources for their ministries,” they add, “enabling them to train others in sound doctrine and Biblical leadership.”

Lord God and Heavenly Father, we thank You that the unfolding of Your Word brings light. We pray for the greater availability of the Scriptures around the world, and especially that pastors in Sri Lanka will be fully equipped with the tools to communicate Your truth and encourage Your flock. Please strengthen them with the provision of Your Word and study aids to teach and preach accurately, and to build up Your Church in Sri Lanka, for we ask in the precious Name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
