Church Volunteer

You and your local church can bring awareness to the needs of the persecuted Church. Church Volunteers connect the ministry to the congregation by distributing Barnabas Aid magazines and other materials, alerting church leaders to emergency needs, and raising prayer points during prayer meetings or church services.

Prayer Group Leader 

Prayer Group Leader 

If you have a heart for prayer, join others to intercede for God’s people. Create a dedicated prayer group in your home, church, community centre, or online as a Barnabas Prayer Group Leader. Barnabas will provide a Prayer Group Starter Pack, and regular prayer updates and resources.

Find existing prayer groups in your region or volunteer to host one of your own.

Speaker

Do you have experience in preaching or public speaking? Become a voice for vulnerable Christians who cannot speak for themselves.

Speakers may be asked by Barnabas Aid to present at a few engagements each year in local churches and Christian groups. Speakers can also initiate their own speaking opportunities. You will be provided with information and materials, including PowerPoint presentations and other resources.

Barnabas Briefing (monthly): Get the latest news about persecution of Christians around the world, plus updates on how Barnabas Aid supporters are meeting the needs of the suffering Church.

Appeals (weekly): Requests for aid and prayer every Friday on behalf of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Prayer Focus Update (monthly): A monthly update in which we share prayer requests for Christians facing hardship and hatred.

Barnabas Aid magazine (bi-monthly): We’ll let you know when our latest magazine is available. You can also sign up to receive the magazine for free by mail.

Barnabas Aid events: We host a variety of events worldwide to raise awareness about the great need for suffering and persecuted Christians. We will let you know if there are events in your region.
