Direct Debit guarantee

This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.

  • If there are any changes to the amount, date, or frequency of your Direct Debit, Barnabas Aid will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited, or as otherwise agreed. If you request Barnabas Aid to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be provided to you at the time of the request.
  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, either by Barnabas Aid or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society. If you receive a refund to which you are not entitled, you must pay it back when Barnabas Aid asks you to.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify Barnabas Aid.

Please give impoverished Pakistani Christians the skills they need

They have the potential – but nobody to help them.

Nobody except you.

Christians in Pakistan are a despised minority, deprived of opportunities for training and employment.

Learning skills such as tailoring allows marginalised young Christians to break the cycle of poverty

These brothers and sisters of yours want to work hard for their families and well for their communities but simply haven’t got the opportunity.

Barnabas Aid’s project partner plans to provide practical skills training and mentorship for marginalised believers in the Lahore area of Pakistan.

Thanks to you, Barnabas has funded vocational training and apprenticeships in Pakistan for many years. Without you this vitally important work cannot continue

God willing, the project will provide vocational training for high-demand trades such as carpentry, IT, electrical work and tailoring. Trainees will also attend entrepreneurial workshops, job placements and internships, along with spiritual and leadership training.

All of this is designed to help young people find well-paying, sustainable jobs, or even start their own small businesses.

Our Father, we call out to You on behalf of Your people left languishing in poverty and disadvantage. Please work through this project to equip them with the skills, knowledge and experience they need to reach their potential, provide for themselves and their families, and serve their communities and churches. We ask too that each one will grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose Name we pray.

$28 could provide a month’s stipend to support a young Christian engaged in skills training

$190 could pay for a Christian worker to focus on supporting each trainee for a month

$336 could provide a year’s stipend to support a young Christian engaged in skills training
