As if to underline the instability of the region, six residents were  kidnapped in another armed raid on Kajuru LGA, Kaduna State, on 24 January, according to the local head of CAN, Pastor Enoch Kaura.

Abductions of church leaders and other Christians by both Islamists and criminal gangs are common in northern and Middle Belt Nigeria.

More than 160 worshippers abducted from three churches in Kajuru LGA on Sunday 18 January are still being held.

How you can pray

Pray that Pastor Daniel and his daughters will be released, safe and unharmed. Ask the same for others being held by Islamist terrorists and armed criminal gangs across northern and Middle Belt Nigeria. Pray for an end to the violence and instability.
