A lifeline from you to your brothers and sisters

15 January 2026

Many of us begin a new year with a renewed sense of hope, that our lives will be better in 2026 than they were before.

But imagine beginning the year homeless.

Imagine beginning the year without enough food – without basic hygiene items or medical supplies.

This is the reality for many of your brothers and sisters in Pakistan right now.

Many Christian families are still homeless and without basic necessities after the floods of 2025. Can you restore the hopes of your brothers and sisters in Pakistan?

In the second half of 2025, devastating floods displaced more than 2.7 million people in the Pakistani province of Punjab.

Many of these were believers, already among the nation’s most impoverished people.

As the new year begins, many Christian families are still without the basic necessities of life.

Barnabas Aid’s project partners plan to distribute food parcels to 300 Christian families in one of the flood-affected regions of Punjab. Each family will receive three months’ supply of food.

But these plans will come to nothing without you.

Can you please pray for the success of these plans? Ask the Lord to oversee the work and encourage His people in their time of need.

Please also consider donating towards this relief effort as a way of blessing your brothers and sisters in Christ.

How you can pray

Lord God and Heavenly Father, we cry out to you on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. Please meet their physical needs; please also meet their spiritual need for comfort and encouragement in Christ at their time of difficulty. Bless, we pray, those on the ground working to help the hungry and displaced, for we ask it in our Saviour’s Name.
