The Lord Jesus Christ taught that you are blessed if you give as little as a cup of cold water to one of His disciples (Matthew 10:42).
Today, you can provide not only a cup of water but a new well for your brothers and sisters in north-western Haiti.
Haiti is desperately impoverished and has suffered for many years from instability caused by armed criminal gangs.
Can you restore access to water for your brothers and sisters in Christ?
Barnabas Aid project partners want to provide access to clean drinking water for around 70 farming families in the Jean-Rabel area.
Here, a hand-dug well provides some water – but not enough to ensure access for all, and certainly not enough to cultivate local farmland.
This requires digging to deepen the well, and the installation of new equipment such as a solar-powered pump, storage tanks and fountains to provide access to the clean water for the community. The water can also be used for irrigation in crop farming.

In addition to the 70 families, it is hoped that up to three thousand people in the surrounding area may also benefit from the project.

Our gracious Heavenly Father, we ask You to bless this work on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Please meet their urgent need for water to sustain their families, their farmlands and their crops. We pray for the beleaguered people of Haiti and ask for their protection against armed criminal gangs who have brought such violence and destruction. We ask this in our Saviour’s name, Amen.
