The Lord Jesus Christ taught, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
The Word of God – inspired and breathed out by God (2 Timothy 3:16) – is an eternal and unchangeable thing.
Today, you can provide it to your brothers and sisters in India.
Marginalised Indian Christians long to have their own copies of the Word of God
Christians in eastern India often face opposition and harassment. “Yet,” says Barnabas Aid’s Projects Manager for South Asia, “the Church continues to grow.
“Many young people are turning to Christ – and even dedicating their lives to serve Him.
“But they often have no access to God’s Word.”
Can you give a gift that won’t pass away?
“In our village, we meet secretly to read one old Bible shared among many believers,” said one local pastor. “If we had our own Bibles, it would help us grow stronger in faith and share Christ with others who are seeking Him.”
“When we read the Bible in our own language,” shared a young believer, “it gives us courage to endure the threats and stand firm in our faith.”
Barnabas Aid project partners want to provide 2,000 Bibles in a local language to persecuted Christians across rural districts in eastern India.
Your brothers and sisters long for the strength and comfort that only Scripture can bring. By providing them with the Bible in their heart language, you will help them grow in faith, resist false teaching, and share Christ’s hope with others.

Lord God and Heavenly Father, thank You for the desire of our brothers and sisters for Your holy Word. Please bless this mission to provide Bibles in their own language. We ask that through this they will grow in their faith and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose Name we pray. |
