You can give dignity and hope to marginalised Nepali Christians

20 February 2026

Extreme poverty. Social stigma. Exclusion and disadvantage.

How would it feel to live each day under these conditions?

Yet these are precisely the conditions facing your Christian family in Nepal, reports Barnabas Aid’s project partner.

These believers are denied opportunities for education, employment and practical help because of their faith in Christ and their “low caste” status.

Two young girls and two older boys

Can you supply these children with the education, training and encouragement that they are being denied?

Through our project partner, a Nepali Christian ministry, you now have the opportunity to make a life-changing difference to some of these dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

You can contribute towards school fees, uniforms, textbooks and tuition for 50 children.

You can provide shelter, counselling and discipleship for at-risk girls, many of whom have been orphaned, and women who have suffered abuse.

You can help to fund vocational training for 40 unemployed young people. After learning skills in computing, electrical repair or tailoring, the 40 will be supported in forming co-operatives and launching their own small businesses.

Christian women and girls are among the most disadvantaged in Nepal. Can you supply the dignity and hope that our project partners are working to provide?

“Together,” says our partner, “these interventions form a holistic response – providing education, livelihood, safety and spiritual nurture – to strengthen the persecuted Church in western Nepal and help believers rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.”

It is only with your support that this vision can become a reality.

Please pray that the Lord, our provider, will work to strengthen and encourage His marginalised people. If He leads, please consider donating to this important work.

We pray that it will succeed, and that our brothers and sisters will know spiritual strengthening and practical provision. We ask that all the glory and praise from this will be to You, for we ask it in our Saviour’s Name.
