Support sustainable livestock farming for impoverished Christians in Laos

They have no opportunity – but you can provide one.

Christians share in the desperate poverty that afflicts so many in rural Laos. Many struggle to afford even basic necessities such as food.

As well as this, many believers suffer mistreatment and marginalisation for their faith.

These brothers and sisters in Christ would love the opportunity to improve their circumstances, and, in the Lord’s providence, you can help.

Barnabas Aid’s project partner is looking to supply pigs and chickens to more than 200 impoverished families.

“This campaign will help these families improve their nutrition through higher-protein diets, contributing to better health and wellbeing,” says our partner.

“At the same time, the project promotes self-sufficiency and resilience, reducing the risk of long-term dependency.”

The gift of these animals will empower beneficiaries by providing them with a sustainable, long-term source of income. The pigs can be bred and sold, while the chicken eggs can also be sold or used as a regular source of nutrition.

Barnabas Aid’s sustainable livestock initiative has already blessed more than 1,500 Christians in Laos, and many more in other contexts of poverty and persecution.
