Help Persecuted Christians in India to Rebuild Their Lives

August 15, 2025

Thousands of our brothers and sisters in north-eastern India lost their homes, livelihoods and communities when anti-Christian violence erupted in Manipur.

At least 200 were killed, 400 churches were burned down and more than 30,000 Christian families were forced to flee to cramped temporary displacement camps.

Barnabas Aid is working with church partners on the ground to help these traumatized and impoverished families to rebuild their lives – but we need your help.

Can you donate towards this work and help us to empower even more of our brothers and sisters?

“By meeting practical needs, building relationships, and faithfully sharing God’s Word, we have seen lives transformed and seen the church family grow stronger,” explains our church partner.
“We are deeply thankful to Barnabas Aid for making this possible,” he added.
“Your partnership is helping us clothe both bodies and souls with the love of Christ.”

How You Can Pray

Lord God and Heavenly Father, thank you that the sewing and tailoring classes are transforming the lives of persecuted believers, and helping to strengthen and rebuild the Christian community in Manipur. We pray that we can expand the number of classes so that we can empower even more of our family of believers. We pray for their safety and security, and an end to the hostility against them. We ask this in our Savior’s Name.
