How might you feel after escaping from a warzone?
Relief? Certainly.
But also sorrow and fear after leaving your home behind and moving to a safer but unfamiliar place.

This is the experience of refugee children from war-torn Myanmar, forced to abandon their homes to seek safety in other lands.
Among them are Christian children from the country’s north-east. Hated by the military government, persecuted and repressed, they have left everything behind and fled to neighbouring Thailand.
Becoming a refugee is traumatic enough for an adult – and even more so for children whose world has been turned upside down.
Today, you can be the reason that one of these children smiles again.
Facilities are basic, but the love of the Lord is very much in evidence. Can you be a blessing to these young brothers and sisters in Christ?
Barnabas Aid’s project partner is a Thai church that serves the refugee community. As part of their work, they have welcomed 80 Christian children, providing education and accommodation.
But without you this work of compassion will not be able to continue.
Please prayerfully consider whether you can give today and give hope and shelter to a child who has lost so much and suffered so greatly.
How you can pray
Father God, thank You for Your people in Thailand who have such a heart to serve their young brothers and sisters from Myanmar. We pray that these children will be helped, comforted and blessed in their time of immense need. Please help them to grow in their knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ as they see His compassion exemplified in the help they receive, for we ask it in His Name.
