Imagine that your child’s day begins at 3am.
Not in a classroom, but amid the sweltering heat, dirt and toxic dust of a brick kiln.
That is the harsh reality for many Christian girls and boys in Pakistan, who must labour in one of Pakistan’s thousands of brick kilns before starting school at 8am.

Can you give Christian children trapped in poverty the opportunity to grow, learn and thrive at a Barnabas-supported school? 
Barnabas Aid-supported Christian schools provide free education as well as free learning materials, such as pencils and textbooks, to children from Christian families slaving for meagre wages in the brick kilns.
“These schools are beacons of light,” said Barnabas Aid’s project partner. “They offer a haven where children can grow, learn, and thrive; where they can discover their worth and their purpose.
“And as they laugh, as they dream, as they grow, they are reminded that they are not forgotten, that God sees them and that they are loved.”
These schools benefit more than just the pupils themselves. “They are transforming entire families through the power of education and faith,” added our partner.
Several Barnabas-supported schools are now looking to expand the number of spaces offered to children – but to do this, they need you.

Lord God and Heavenly Father, we thank You for the education that hundreds of impoverished Christian children like Farya are receiving. We ask You to help us to give even more boys and girls the opportunity of a better start in life. We pray that they will receive the knowledge and the skills to break free from the poverty that has ensnared previous generations. We ask also that the children will grow in their love of our Saviour Jesus Christ, in whose mighty Name we pray.
