Poverty. Disadvantage. Destitution.
This is the future that awaits so many children who cannot access the education that they need to make the best start in life.
Among them are the young people of Uganda, where only one in four children attend secondary school and many miss out on gaining the skills and knowledge that they need for later life.

Barnabas Aid is working with a Ugandan NGO to support 130 Christian children to attend school. Among them are impoverished Ugandan children as well as refugees whose lives have been turned upside down by the horrors of war.
Can you give your young brothers and sisters the best start in life?
God willing, the school fees of these young people will be paid for, and each one will receive stationery, exercise books and school uniform, alongside mentorship and guidance. Additionally, girls will receive sanitary items that will help them stay in school throughout the year.

Please bless those who have suffered poverty, destitution and displacement with happier times and the opportunity to flourish. Most importantly, we ask these children will grow in their faith and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose Name we pray.

£18 ($22; €20) could pay for school uniform and shoes for one child OR stationery and books for three primary school children OR sanitary supplies for two girls
£50 ($60; €55) could pay a child’s school fees for one term at secondary school
£180 ($220; €200) could pay the school fees of three children for the whole year at primary school
