Your brothers and sisters in Armenia are often impoverished. Congregations support their pastors as best they can, but many church leaders find themselves having to take on extra work. These second jobs – teaching, taxi-driving, office jobs – take valuable time away from ministry.

One of your brothers, a pastor, hit on the idea of keeping bees in order to fund his ministry.
Compared with other side-jobs, beekeeping takes up fewer hours, can be done flexibly, and does not interfere in the vital work of shepherding the Lord’s people – while still providing a significant and much-needed income.
Managing ten beehives can provide a pastor with an additional annual income of up to $5,280.
Now, your input is needed to expand this beekeeping initiative to support even more church leaders and, in turn, bless the cause of the Gospel in Armenia.

Our project partner wants to upgrade the existing beekeeping equipment, as well as purchasing more equipment that gives opportunity for other pastors to keep bees.
“This initiative will allow the pastors to devote more time, energy and focus to their ministry responsibilities and to serving the church more effectively,” he says.

Heavenly Father, we give thanks for faithful pastors striving to build your kingdom in Armenia. We pray that You will bless this vital initiative to release the shepherds of your flock with income to invest in their core ministries. We ask for the provision and upgrading of all equipment to ensure the success of beekeeping and enable Your Gospel to be proclaimed even more effectively throughout Armenia and make the Lord Jesus Christ known, in whose precious Name we pray.
