Have you ever had to wonder where the next meal will come from?
Probably not. Most of us have never experienced the kind of food insecurity that afflicts our brothers and sisters around the world. Most of us have never experienced a food shortage that couldn’t be remedied by a quick trip to a supermarket or convenience store.
Zeenat’s experience is very different.
Can you help believers such as Zeenat provide for their families?
Zeenat is an elderly believer from southern Punjab, Pakistan.
Like many other Pakistani Christians, your sister Zeenat is desperately impoverished, and often cannot afford to feed properly either herself or her family.
Or take Shahzad, a small-scale farmer whose ability to provide is being sorely tested by water scarcity and rising costs.
Can you support small-scale farmers such as Shahzad to meet the needs of their communities?
Barnabas Aid is partnering with a ministry in Pakistan to set up 25 small-scale vegetable nurseries in five Christian communities, benefitting around 300 families.
This sustainable agriculture project will, God willing, provide those such as Zeenat and Shahzad with a reliable and regular supply of nutritious food.
By supporting this project, you can give a Pakistani Christian their next meal. And the one after that. And the one after that.
Please commit to praying for your brothers and sisters, and for God’s blessing upon this important work.
How you can pray
Lord God and Heavenly Father, thank You for the faithful witness of brothers and sisters such as Shahzad and Zeenat. Please bless this work on behalf of the Christian communities of southern Punjab. We pray that many will be fed and nourished, not only physically, but also spiritually when they are reminded of Your faithfulness to them, for we ask it in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
