Since 1993 we have worked in some of the most hostile and challenging contexts to help those who are targeted by violent extremists or endure significant hardship in their communities. These Christians are overlooked, under-served, and desperately need aid.
“... as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
Barnabas Aid makes known the suffering and persecution of Christians around the world to encourage prayer and raise financial support.
Prayer will always be at the centre of our ministry. At every opportunity, we equip believers to intercede for the persecuted Church.
We provide practical aid, advocacy, empowerment and education that strengthens communities in places where following Jesus is the most dangerous thing you can do.
You and others in your church pray and donate – the local church mobilising on behalf of the persecuted Church.
Your donation is channelled through trusted project partners and area churches who are already doing great work on the ground. This empowers those who are the experts in their own situations and regions.
The aid is distributed to Christians who need it the most and Barnabas Aid receives reports on the impact and any follow-up needs.
We work with churches and local Christian ministries in some of the world’s hardest contexts through projects they have developed to ensure that we provide the right kind of help effectively, efficiently and ethically.
treating all people with care, love and kindness, including those who persecute us,
monitoring our processes and partnerships to maintain high standards of operation and efficient aid delivery,
striving to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us, and upholding transparency in all we say and do.
We are committed to responsible financial stewardship and transparent practices. Each project is thoroughly assessed and monitored before, during and after the release of funds so that your donation has the greatest possible impact.
