Spyros (short for Spyridon) is the National Director for the UK and Ireland.
Spyros has worked in the charity sector and led teams for over 20 years in areas as broad as production and supporter care, but with a particular emphasis on fundraising and managing teams to fundraise.
As part of his duties, he has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand developing fundraising teams. He has also visited communities in Nepal, India, Uganda and Malawi that have benefitted from international development projects. These experiences inform his current role with Barnabas.
Spyros joined Barnabas Aid as a National Director in April 2026.
He loves serving the Lord through sharing beneficiaries’ stories, challenges, prayers and hopes. He believes we should express our love for others, not just as we love ourselves, but as Christ loves us (John 13:34-35).
Spyros has three adult children and is passionate about equipping the next generation to serve the Lord and His people.
