Welcome to Encourage! Join us on Saturday 21 June, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the beautiful Moggerhanger Park in Bedfordshire, UK.

This year, we invite you to Encourage – Barnabas Aid’s Supporters’ Day. At this event, you will learn more about what it’s like for believers enduring persecution, hardship or discrimination because of their love for Christ.

Come and be encouraged with the Barnabas team, hear how your faithful support is making a difference, and enjoy a day of talks, worship, prayer and fellowship.

Together, we can continue to play our part in His plan and bless the worldwide Church.

Keynote speaker

Benjamin Kwashi

Benjamin Kwashi, a retired Anglican archbishop from Nigeria, has been working with Barnabas Aid as a project partner since 2015. He has helped to oversee multiple projects related to victims of violence and sustainability.

Benjamin is married to Gloria, and they have six children together. In addition, they are caring for 70 orphans at their home in Jos, northern Nigeria. He has previously served as the General Secretary of GAFCON, a global network for evangelical Anglicans.

By Car

Moggerhanger Park is conveniently located on the A603, just 2 miles from the A1 at Sandy and 4 miles from the A421 Bedford Bypass. It is within a 20-minute drive of the M1 and easily accessible from London, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, and Oxford.

  • From the A1: Take the A603 at Sandy.
  • From the M1: Exit at Junction 13 (A421), then follow the A603 at Bedford.

Once in Moggerhanger, follow the brown Historic House signs from the A603.

Parking

Free parking will be available onsite.

By Train

The nearest railway stations are Sandy and Bedford.

Is it free to attend?
Yes, it is free, but tickets are limited. Please book your spot in advance and let us know if you book but later decide not to attend.
What happens if it rains or the weather changes?
The event will proceed in case of light rain. Updates will be provided closer to the event.
What should I wear or bring?
Check the weather forecast before attending. Prepare with hats, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, and essentials like sunscreen, bug spray, and additional camp chairs. (A limited number of chairs will be available on-site for elderly attendees.)
Where can I park, and is parking free?
Free on-site parking is available. Our team will assist you in parking safely.
Is the event accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, but please note that the venue is a grass field with uneven surfaces. Accessible portable toilets are also available on-site.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Please leave your furry friends at home.
Is food available?
Food will be available to purchase from onsite vendors, including a breakfast menu, lunch menu, tea, coffee and more; there is also picnic space should you want to bring your own.
Are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options available?
Yes, there will be some vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.
