Our brothers and sisters are a minority in this Muslim-majority country. They often live in remote and impoverished regions and face severe socio-economic challenges, including limited access to education, employment, healthcare and even basic infrastructure.
This marginalisation goes hand-in-hand with discrimination. Often promises of food, shelter and education are made only to those who renounce their faith.
A lifeline for families
Our project partner is among the Christian organisations seeking to fulfil the Biblical command to do good to all – “especially those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians 6:10).
But they need our help to provide food to children who attend their schools and their families.

Can you provide school meals for impoverished Christian children and food parcels for their families?
This will alleviate hunger, improve overall health, and provide for those who will not give up their faith to find help elsewhere.
God willing, school meals will be given to 683 pupils, and food parcels to 502 of the poorest families.
How you can help
We rely on the generosity of Barnabas supporters. If you can donate, your support will directly benefit children and families, providing food security and ensuring their Christian faith remains unshaken in the face of external pressures.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact.

Your prayers and gifts are greatly appreciated
If you are unable to donate, or have recently responded to one of our appeals, please don’t feel under pressure to give again. But please pray for our Indonesian brothers and sisters, asking that the Lord will provide for them and keep their faith strong.
In these ways, you can provide not only food but also hope for a better future – one where these children can thrive without compromising their beliefs.
Join us in making a difference today. Together, we can secure the future of these children, strengthen their communities, and protect their faith. As James reminds us, “If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” (James 2:16)
